The size is ideal for SUVs and light trucks with a 2 inch receiver, and it does a great job of leveling trailers for a safer, more stable towing experience. The overall build quality stands out immediately. It is made from solid steel and has a noticeable weight to it, making it extremely durable without being overkill for its intended use.Functionality is where this hitch really shines. The tri ball design makes switching between trailers quick and easy, and the added tow hook is a nice bonus for recovery or general utility use. I found that the adjustable channel works smoothly, and the single pin height adjustment keeps everything simple and efficient. Rubber spacers help reduce rattle, which is a nice feature and makes towing quieter and more comfortable. The fit is excellent and true to spec in a standard 2 inch receiver. Installation is straightforward, and the keyed alike locking pins add convenience along with solid theft protection. Considering the versatility, strength, and included features, this hitch offers incredible value for the money and is a dependable upgrade that will keep your towing needs covered for years to come. BJBJJanuary 12, 2026On the bench today, I’ve got the Vehiclex 6″ Adjustable Drop Hitch for 2″ Receiver, Heavy-Duty Tri-Ball & Tow Hook with Keyed-Alike Pin Locks for SUVs & Light-Duty TrucksI have to start off by saying that I appreciate all of the little extras they included with the hitch. The I actually like some of stickers/decals and they seem to be decently well made tho I’ll have to see how they hold up to weather. They’re not the standard vinyl cut decal that I’m used to for vehicle decals so I’m not sure if these are meant for that or not. They also included spacers and o-rings to help reduce rattle from the hitch itself and the locking pins. Each locking pin came with 5 thick, high quality o-rings. I found that leaving 3 on the one that locks the 4-way hitch into this hitch base worked best. The other pin that actually locks the hitch into your receiver would entirely depend on your specific receiver on how many you’d need. The locking hitch pins themselves are nicely done too. I haven’t owned a ton of them but the current 3-4 that I do own don’t have the feature that these do. You unlock the hitch pin and pull the locking end off then you turn it back to the locked position, you can take the key out and don’t need it to put the end back on and lock the pin again after you’ve swapped hitches. You just slide the end on then press the “button” that the key cylinder is actually inside of to lock the pin again. The welds on the ball mount all look very nicely done. The powder coat was fairly uniform all over the outside of the ball mount and is that almost soft touch rough thick kind of powder coat. The negative there tho, as you can see in my pictures, is that the inside of the hitch tube is already rusting so it seems they didn’t get a good application on the inside of it.I saw someone complain that this was “heavy”. Well, duh it’s not going to be light. It’s a quick adjusting 4 way rotating ball mount that has a substantial amount of rise/drop built into it. Any heavy duty hitch isn’t going to be light at all and this one has all of the extra metal required to be able to quick rotate and adjust the 4 way portion of the hitch that has all 3 balls sizes plus a hook on it. So really, if you’re going to be comparing the weight of this to other ball mounts then you’d really be more apples to apples comparing the weight of just the 4 way portion of this one to a stand alone ball mount and then you’d be a lot closer in comparison weight wise. This hitch does weigh a bit over a total of 30lbs as packaged. One negative trade off with this hitch over the fully forged ball mount that I normally keep in my truck with a 2” ball is rated for more than this hitch is but most people aren’t going to be towing anywhere close to 10,000lbs on a 2” ball anyway. I sure don’t but when I first got the truck, I made sure I got a ball mount and ball that was as capable as what it was rated for just in case. The hitch mostly surprised me compared to what I might have been expecting when I ordered it and is actually very nicely done. The little extras are pretty well thought out and good quality while adding some actual value to the total package to me.Overall, while in the $130 price range from the time of my order, I would consider this one an excellent value compared to available competition on Amazon. Because, this mount has some channels for added strength to help hold the 4-way portion in place compared to many adjustable hitches that use two pins and the channel is just smooth and does basically nothing to help increase strength. Leaving the two pins having to do all of the work through torsion and just load on those. From my research, it seems you’ll have a fairly hard time finding a 4 way adjustable that will be more economically priced than that. Hauled the biggest hitch pulled U-Haul trailer half filled with essentials to move from the east coast to the Midwest. Literally zero issues. No rattle, perfect fit, and perfect to quickly adjust from the U-Haul to a smaller utility trailer. Worth the buy compared to more expensive versions. Customer Reviewer May 26, 2026 GoodWorks good Brian Reviewer May 12, 2026 Rusted immediatelyProduct looked great out of box. Begin rusting the week it was put on without ever being used. Jose Peña Reviewer April 30, 2026 10chuladaMuy.seguro Amanda and Dave Reviewer April 28, 2026 Heavy, Solid HitchThis hitch is very nice. It is very heavy and very heavy duty. It is very adjustable and is handy to have 3 size balls easily changed. I use this on my 3 point mounted receiver hitch on my tractor for easily moving trailers around my property. It includes keyed locking pins for security as well. 5 stars for quality and value. Show more reviews (28)Sorry, no reviews match your current selections
