If you want simple, one button control, this is the unit for you. The collapsible design makes for easy storage and it is extremely easy to clean. I bought a separate 2 Liter Jar, because frankly, those smaller batches were getting annoying.It does NOT have a temperature control. It is fixed “somewhere in the yogurt range”….. my guess without measuring, is around 100 degrees F. And also the timer is fixed at 10 hours. That generally is good. If you need more time, you have to press the start button again. In my very limited experience, there are a LOT of variables to yogurt making. (what type of milk, what type of starter, how portent is your starter, etc)…. so you just have to experiment until you find a method that consistently works. One more thing: Home made yogurt is delicious. I find it doesn’t need any sweeteners or added fruit, etc…. might try a few blueberries in it ….!!
