About the Garrett T3 Turbocharger The Garrett T3 is arguably the most widely used turbocharger ever built for passenger car applications. Produced in large quantities from the late 1970s through the mid-1990s, the T3 was factory-fitted to an exceptional range of vehicles: the Ford Mustang SVO, the Saab 900 Turbo and 9000 Turbo, the Renault 5 Turbo, the Peugeot 505 Turbo, the Chrysler/Dodge GLH-S and Shelby Omni, the Dodge Shelby Charger Turbo, the Mitsubishi Starion and Conquest TSi, and a wide variety of European market vehicles from Alfa Romeo, Fiat, and Lancia. In the aftermarket, the Garrett T3 remains one of the most popular choices for engine swaps, budget performance builds, and custom projects. T3 Gasket Set Applications This gasket set fits Garrett T3 turbochargers across all standard T3 configurations. The T3 platform includes a large number of factory variants — TA31, TB02, T3/T4 hybrid configurations, and many OEM-specific units — but all share the same basic gasket dimensions. The quickest way to confirm a standard T3 is the compressor housing bolt pattern: a standard T3 uses a four-bolt attachment between the compressor housing and the center section.
