Maddog® Padded Chest Protector

First chest protector…didn’t want to play paintball without one. I have seen many with bruises and welts on their bodies…no thanks. The first time I used this chest protector I got hit with a auto clocker mid range in the middle of the chest. Didn’t feel the hit to the point I didn’t know that I got hit until I was hit in the mask on the following shot. No bruises, no welts. My friend and I both bought and wore these vests multiple times now and have had no issues with them. They are easy to clean…you can hose then down in the shower (the paint just automatically comes off) or you can put them in a front loader washing machine which is what I have done and then hang dry and they come out pristine and clean as when they were brand new. The Velcro holds tight, never had to adjust the velcro during play time or throughout the day. I have had to pull down the vest as sometimes it will creep upward toward shoulders exposing your stomach, but you just quickly pull it down. This has happened to both of us. But, it could be the clothing we are wearing underneath which is a Empire Paintball Jersey that has a smooth rather than cotton fabric texture. The vest covers chest, back and stomach. It works great for both men and women and even 10 year olds. It doesn’t cover your sides, but that is then made up for by your arm, so your arm will be hit rather than the side of your chest unless you have your arm completely up in the air which shouldn’t happen unless you are walking out surrendering because you were already hit. I did noticed that even on the product image it states Maddog Padded Chest Protector, but you actually receive the Chest Protector with the words ZephYr across the chest not Maddog.
