I was given some lenses and ordered these caps to replace some that were missing. I also put adapters on a couple of my dad’s old screw-in lenses and so needed to replace his rear caps with these. They were perfect for both applications. The plastic seems just as strong as the original ones, and they go on just snug enough, but not so snug that the adapters would get twisted off. I had a Canon rear cap on a lens with an adapter at first, and it went on too snugly and the adapter came off with the cap instead of staying on the lens. So these are not quite as tight, but for my purposes, that was a good thing. It should also make it a little easier getting the rear cap off one-handed in the field.
