Very nice. I bought 2 of these for my 6 year old son’s alien Halloween costume this year (the shorter tubing is on his pants and the longer tubing is on his shirt). They do make a buzzing/humming sound. They take 2 AA batteries and the battery pack is on the larger side to accommodate that. The battery pack has a clip on the back so it can be attached to your clothes. I wasn’t sure how to attach the tubing to the clothes. First I tried to safety pin it but then I quickly realized I’d need a lot of pins to do that to keep everything in place and I didn’t have that many safety pins and I also thought that many pins might make my son uncomfortable. So I decided to tape it with packing tape. But as I was doing that, I thought maybe it would make the shirt restricting in some areas around the borders. So then I thought I’d loosely stitch it so it can be pulled in and out of the stitching for washing and won’t be as restricting. It took me about 3-4 hours to loosely stitch just the borders of his pants and shirt (I’m slow though). When the light is on, it actually doesn’t look bad and the stitching isn’t too apparent unless you are actually looking for it. After spending all that time stitching the borders, I had extra tubing left and decided just to use packing tape to tape it to the front of the pants and shirt in a random design. I think it turned out pretty well and in the dark, both the parts that are stitched and the taped parts, look good. I didn’t cut any tubing off. Also, the color in my picture is not really an accurate representation of the color in person. It’s much prettier and more neon in color in person.
