Pleasantly surprised. Even though there were a number of positive reviews I was cautiously optimistic after pretty much everyone’s experience by now w such places such as his market place and the other giant one that starts with an A, that are selling billions of items that are supposed to be new, unused, undamaged, original & not a knock off replica. Man I got lucky with this company. It comes from a couple(I believe) that decided to design and produce their own products that are innovated w useful practical features, make sense, better materials, fair/encourageable price point AND beautiful, clear, concise, color photo instructions that have everything but TypeOs! What? Yes! Not joking! You know what I’m talking about. Product was obviously engineered to be an easy assembly. Everything threads cleanly, long connections to hold up, the platting isn’t going to crack or flake bc it hit the metal border around the shower door or wall. They included EVERYTHING in the box from washers, 2 rolls of plumber’s tape, and even a loofa. I’m a newer disabled person, trying to find my groove & constantly pivoting, adjusting, experimenting, things changing then changing again etc. Finding products that aid in these changes and enhance or really impact this disabled life positively is so spectacular!! This is one of those products. As I said, the quality is better than what I was expecting for the price, so it’s good but it is also not solid quality that will last for years but I bet we can get at least 3 out of it. The plated plastic buttons on the handheld I was a bit weary about- it’s these things that breakdown first but this design seems to protect the buttons really well, recessed a bit & no damaged to them (yet) though the handheld has bounced off of the shower floor a few hundred times already. Favorites about this thing: the L arm for height adjustment has strong connections & stays secured nicely in each position, no slipping no give & feels like it’s going to stand up like this for awhile! Loooooong hose for handheld! The high pressure spout out the top of the handheld shower head; push the button on the back & that thing is like a baby power washer that rinses out the shower and the tub so well, so easily, that this physically-challenged mama no longer has to get down there & clean the tub & shower so much! What a life saver! Every tub & shower needs a high power/high pressure nozzle/head on a long hose! It really decreases the frequency of needed shower & tub scrubbing sessions as well as helping get a deeper better clean. It feels good too as a massage/hurt muscle hot tub-jet feel and the Great Dane likes it a lot but that’s all peanuts to it cleaning & keeping our tub clean! Really appreciate this product & the thought that went into the design, assembly, literature & included supplies.
