INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS All surfaces must be clean and dry, no lubrication of any type – Use threadlock (Loctite) in the screw holes. Install gasket and CROSS TIGHTEN to value listed: COLD ENGINE – 25 INCH POUNDS WARM ENGINE – 20 INCH POUNDS Perform engine run and check for leaks. If there is a leak, DO NOT CONTINUE TO TIGHTEN – This will only make the leak worse. – Remove the gasket and examine its condition. – If it is still serviceable, wash it briefly in hot water and soap, rinse well, dry and reinstall. To reuse the gasket, clean as described in # (4) above. – The gasket surfaces must be clean and dry. Keep these instruction for future reference CAUTION – DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN!
