Best Cleaning Solution for The Diesel particulate Filter DPF no disassembling Needed Fast and Effective
$ 14.15
I have a 2014 VW Jetta TDI that I just bought, and I didn’t know that driving two miles to work was not good for the Diesel Particulate Filter. The warning light came on in my dashboard. So, I took it easy and went to work for a few more days. Trying to figure out where it was. Then the glow plug light starts flashing and the turbo quit working. I could barely get to 30 mph. I searched on You tube on how to fix it. Got on Amazon and found “Motor Power Care Catalytic Converter & DPF Foam Cleaner”. Read directions but I didn’t have an O2 sensor removing tool so I took apart the inlet side of the exhaust pressure sensor that was on the top right side of the engine. I started and warmed up the engine, shut it off and inserted the tube that came with the cleaner, down that hose kind of pulling on the hose so that I could get it in about 10 inches. Then with a paper towel I tried to seal it off as good as I could and sprayed the whole can in, holding the towel for a minute longer, for the pressure to go down. Put everything back together and drove to the gas station and it was already acting better. I then poured in about 6 oz. of “Motor Power Care DPF Filter Purge” and filled the tank with diesel fuel. And took a little road trip on the interstate in 4th gear so the engine was about 2800 rpm. In about ten miles the glow plug light quit flashing, and the turbo charger started working and in another five miles the DPF light on the dash went out too, and it was running like a champ. It took me about 3 hours from the start to finish to complete the whole job. The Best $43.00 I ever spent. I highly recommend this cleaner. I don’t know about the others, but this stuff is a WINNER to me.
